Als ich gestern auf mein Gyros Pita gewartet habe, hab ich auf einer Serviette die Maße für ein R=50cm/60° Modul geplant. Nach dem Gyros, ging es dann in den Baumarkt gegenüber und das Holz wurde gekauft. Es geht darum meine Modulbaufähigkeiten zu verbessern.

While I was waiting for my lunch I draw the measurements for a radius 50cm and 60° angle curve on a napkin. The idea was to build a small size factor curve that I can use with my layout or as yard lead. After I ate the greek gyros I went to the hardware store and let them cut some 10mm poplar wood for me.
Die Modulenden sind 15cm breit. Dies erlaubt mir das Modul nach Fremo AmericaN-iNdustries-Norm zu bauen.

The ends of the module are 15cm wide so I can build them with standard Fremo AmericaN-iNdustries connections.
Das Trassenbrett wurde an den Kopfplatten durch einen kleinen Holzklotz versteift. Die mittleren drei Stabilisierungsquerbretter sind 15mm tief ausgesägt um eine 5mm Erhöhung für die Landschaftsgestaltung zu erhalten.

The train path poplar board is fortified with wood qubes on the head plates. The three middle boards are sawed for 15mm to create an 5mm landscape elevation.
Für die Seitenwände habe ich 2mm Balsaholz verwendet.

Die Landschaft auf diesem Modul werden ich mit Pappstreifen und Heißkleber grundgestalten. Anschließend kommt eine Zeitungspapierschicht auf welche Gipsbinden aufgelegt werden. In dem Bild kann man bereits das Holz für die Burney Yard extension sehen.

I want to build the landscape on this module with cardboard stripes and hot glue. The second layer will be made of newspapers and finally a third layer of plaster bandages. In the picture you can see the wood for the Burney Yard Extension 1in the upper corner.
