Yamachiche GRain Elevator Part 2

It was time to add the roads bypassing the elevator and to match the profiles of the back 2 back mounted American-ST Modules.

Als nächstes wurden die Straßen geabut, um den Modulübergang zu den ST Modulen herzustellen.

I glued 3 pieces of 1mm balsar wood to the module surface (1mm only on the upper ST/AmericaN iNdustries compatible half of the module). I used some aluminium square profiles to equalize the weight on the road to get a smooth and not bumpy surface.

Die Straße wurde aus mehreren Shcichten Balsarholz aufgeleimt und mit Aluminiumprofilen und Gewichten beschwert, um eine glatte Oberfläche zu erhalten.

After the glue was dry I cut the shape according to my vision of the module.

Nachdem der Holzleim durchgetrocknet war habe ich die Straßen meinen Vorstellungen entsprechend zugeschnitten.

The road seems to have a good size for a rual highway.

Die Straße sieht mit Modellen darauf gut dimensioniert aus.

I sanded the roads at their sides to match the prototypes water flow concept of no drains in the middle of the road. Also the tracks were ballaseted. I will paint the tracks as last step with woodlands rusty rail sticks. I also gave the roads a first coat of black paint as a kind of primer.

Die Straßen wurde zu den äußeren Kanten hin abgeschmirgelt, um dem nordamaerkanischem Prinzip ohne Gullidekcel in der Mitte der Straße nachzukommen. Die Straße erhielt eine erste Grundierung in schwarz. Die Gleise wurden geschottert - ich werde den Gleisen erst als einen der letzten Schritte mit dem Woodland Rail Painter eine rostige Farbe geben.

The white house on the left is such a nice detail in this scene that I will model it with its garage on the right back, too.

Dieses weiße Wohnhaus mit seiner Garage runden die Szene ab, daher werde ich es auch bauen.

I started adding some green (different Turfs and bushes) with the free space on the left foreground left free for the house. The glue is still wet in the picture. Some trees on the right side near the tracks will complete this scene.

Im nächsten Schritt wurden verschiedene Turfs und Sträucher (Woodland) aufgebracht und verklebt. Auf dem Bild ist der Kleber noch ganz feucht. Rechts von den Gleisen kommen noch ein paar Bäume hin, um der Streetview Anschicht zu folgen.

Mal zur Abwechslung ein Bild von der anderen Seite. Die Vegetation ist hier ehr flach.

The tower received some interiors and the loading shed was finished, both were painted with primer.

Der Ladeturm bekam einen Inneneinrichtung und die Beladung wurde fertig gebaut und alles erhielt einen überzug Grundierung.

I found this nice little garage Laserkit and built my first wooden structure. The corners need to be replaced with sytrene because they are just too small for my fingers to get postioned correcty.

Ich habe mein erstes Laserkit in Form eine Garage gebaut. Der Bausatz ist schön, aber die Ecken sind zu frimmelig. hier werde ich Kunststoffprofile von Evergreen verwenden.

The next step will be building the house by using an AMB kit as base and kitchbash it to match the prototype.

Als nächsten kommt das Wohnhaus an die Reihe, welches ich aus einem AMB Laserkit bauen werden.
