Weiter gehts mit dem zweiten Teil von "How I build a curved n-scale module". Nachdem das Modul getrocknet war habe ichdie Oberfläche mit Schmirgelpapier geglättet und anschließend mit dunkelbraunem Lack gestrichen.

Here is the second part of "How I build a curved n-scale module". After the plaster layer was dry I used some sanding paper to smooth the surface. Then I painted the top of the module with dark to medium brown coating.
Nach dem Altern der Gleise wird man die Leiterplattenschwellen nicht mehr von den Kunststoffschwellen unterscheiden können.

After weathering the rails and ties the PCB ties will look like the plastic ties.
Für dieses Modul habe ich meine Materialienliste etwas erweitert. Für die Bodengestaltung wurden die Woodland Scenics Produkte Soil, earth, earth blend, burned grass und green gras. Hinzu kamen clump foilage in medium und dunkelgrün. Die Nadelbäume hatte ich schon früher mit einem mittelgrünen Streumaterial bearbeitet.

On this module I used more raw materials to get more landscape depth. I used woodland scenics soil, earth, blended earth, burned grass, green grass turfs with light and dark clump foilage. The conifers were made earlier with a medium green turf.
Hier mal die ersten Ergebnisse ohne Blitzlicht.

Um die einzelnen Bodenfarben besser erkennen zu können, habe ich dann auch mal ein paar Fotos mit Blitzlicht gemacht.

Das Modul wird noch mit drei Bohrlöchern und Sicherheitssteckern nach Fremo - AmericaN - iNdustries - Norm versehen. Die Modulübergänge müssen noch mit der AmericaN turf-Mischung bestreut werden, damit sie zu anderen Modulen passen.

The module only needs three connection holes and the saftey plugs to be Fremo AmericaN iNdustries compatible. Also I need to apply the AmericaN turf mixture to the module borders to match it with other modules.
