Covered Hopper ACFX tuned and weathered

Ich habe mich an einem weiteren Wagen versucht. Dieses mal ist es ein Covered Hopper für Plastik Pallets.Ich habe das Sonnenlicht auf dem Dachboden am Nachmittag mal für ein paar Fotos genutzt.

I tried to weather and tune another car. This time it is a cheap Atlas trainman covered hopper for plastic pallets. While I took the photos the sun was shining and sent a warm winter light.

Der Wagen wurde zuerst Abgeklebt und dann mit Alkohol bearbeitet. So wurden alter Graffitis vom Besitzer einfach übermalt - primer Optik.

At first I taped some areas and removed the paint with isoprpyl alcohol. This brings the effect of a freshly patched car where the owner overpainted some graffits with primer.

Die Decals für Roadnummer und Namen in Stempeloptik habe ich selber auf transparente Decalfolie ausgedruckt.

Also I made custom decals for the stenciled road and road numer.

Der Wagen wurde dann mit Pulverpigmenten und Künstlerölfarbe behandelt.

I weathered the car with weathering powder and artist oil paint.

Ich habe auch mal zwei Bilder im Schatten gemacht damit man auch mal den Eindruck von Kunstlicht bekommen.

I took two pictures while the car was in the shadwos to get an impression how the car looks like in non sun light.

Zudem wurde der Wagen nach Fremo-AmericaN Norm beschwert und die Kunstoffachsen wurden durch 33" Fox Vally Metallachsen ausgetauscht. Natürlich hat der Wagen auch Warnstreifen erhalten.
Ich freu mich schon auf die beiden anderen Plastic Pallets Hopper die hier noch liegen :)

Additionally I weightend the car according to the Fremo-AmericaN Standard and replaced the plastic wheelsets with fox valley 33 inch metal replacements. I'm looking forward to weather the two other plastic pallets hoppers that are waiting on my desk :)
